Zone athletics carnival - FIELD EVENTS

Zone athletics carnival for selected students only. 

  • Students will need to make their own way to the venue.
  • Students will compete against other schools in their age group. (based on the age they are turning this year).
  • Please ensure that your child has a hat, sunscreen, plenty of water, lunch, and recess.
  • Students are to wear their Thomas Acres sports uniform and suitable running shoes.
  • If your child suffers from asthma, they MUST have their puffer with them on the day.

Zone Athletics Information

  • Tuesday- field events and 1500m
  • Wednesday- 100m, 200m, 800m and relays
  • Both days will be starting at 8.30 am so please read the program closely for event order
  • The stadium will have the canteen open
  • Entry will be through the Pembroke Rd entrance ONLY. No bottom gate will be open near the tennis club (Council's new rule). You will need to walk around Wests Leagues Club and up the street as per the picture attached
  • Pembroke Rd car park is for officials and teachers only
  • Apparel will be for sale $35 singlets and $20 hats. Some old apparel will be on sale, however, sizes are very limited. Any student who qualifies for region will need a C’town PSSA shirt or singlet to compete. CASH ONLY
  • The program is attached showing the order of events, this is a guide and may be changed by the convenor if necessary
  • Specific information should be on your own school permission note
