Whole school assemblies, K-6, are held during each term commencing at around 12.00pm or otherwise advised. Students who have earned their Bronze, Silver or Gold awards and/or Badge including the chip inserts are presented at these assemblies.
Infants and Primary assemblies are held regularly throughout the Term commencing at 2:10pm in the school hall. Students will receive their White awards at these assemblies.
TAPS Sport and Service Award Assembly is held in December. At this assembly sportspersons are recognised for their achievements in their sport, be it representation at Area, Zone or State level or house sport. Each teacher nominates a student from their class to receive a Class Sportsmanship Certificate. Service awards are presented to students who have helped in areas of school life that we feel should be recognised eg. Years 6 Kindergarten helpers, Band helpers and organisers etc. The Sportsperson is announced and presented a trophy at the conclusion of this assembly.
The Annual School Presentation Assembly takes place in December and provides a setting for the recognition of our students' achievements. At this assembly each Stage will present their Annual Awards for Academic Excellence, Class Citizenship, Encouragement etc. Our outgoing School Captains deliver their final speech and introduce the school community to the incoming School Captains. The concert band and performance groups have the opportunity to showcase their talents.
Parents and carers of students who will are to receive awards at either or both assemblies will be sent a personal invitation to their residential address. This is a reminder to all parents/carers to update any changes in address to ensure correspondence is received.
