Primary Athletics Carnival

THIS IS A WHOLE PRIMARY EVENT - all primary students are encouraged to attend our Athletics Carnival to be held at Narellan Sports Hub on 4 July 2025.

Students in Year 2 who are 8 or turning 8 this year, and participate in COMPETITIVE athletics outside of school are invited to attend.  Please complete the Expression of Interest to be enrolled in this event - Primary Athletics Carnival - Expression of Interest - Google Forms

If you do not wish for your child to participate, please select "Permission Not Given" in the Sentral for Parents app. The fee will be removed, and your child will be expected to attend school as usual.

If your child is successful in making it into the TAPS zone team, please be aware that the Campbelltown Zone Athletics Carnival is held on the 2 & 3 September 2025.

If your child is diagnosed with concussion at any time, you must inform the school and provide a medical clearance to support their return to sport and physical activity. If your child experiences a suspected concussion during school, they will be removed from the activity and medical follow-up is recommended.

Participation in sports can help students in a multitude of ways. Physical activity can not only contribute to improving students' physical health, but it can also aid in developing social skills and improving mental health, leading to better academic outcomes and school completion. Students who participate in sports during the school years tend to have a positive attitude towards physical activity which does not diminish as they age.

Students are encouraged to wear their house colours.

The first letter of a student's SURNAME determines their sporting house.
