Stage 3 camp - Tops Conference Centre, Stanwell Park
We are currently organising our Stage 3 Camp. This year, Camp will be held at The Tops Conference Centre, Stanwell Park, for three days: Middle of Term 3 (Week 6), Mon 21 – Wed 23 August 2023. Travel is by coach.
The Tops Conference Centre is set on 200 acres of pristine bushland, nestled above Stanwell Park Beach, approximately 45 minutes’ drive from school. Further information can be found the Tops webiste
Stage 3 Camp is a great way for students to enjoy three action-packed days of discovery and adventure, whilst in the safe hands of teachers from TAPS and the Centre’s highly experienced team of outdoor guides. Camp provides a fun, educational and safe experience for children through activities that are positive, challenging and engaging. It also creates lasting, fond memories for students and helps them develop independence and confidence as they begin their transition to high school.
Facilities Include:
- Cabin accommodation with ensuites
- Quality catering (all meals provided)
- A TAPS-dedicated dining hall / meeting room
- Outdoor sporting facilities
- Disabled access
- Playground equipment
Students will participate in an exhilarating variety of team-building and outdoor activities. These may include:
- Abseiling
- Giant Swing
- Cart Racing
- Leap of Faith
- High Ropes
- Archery
- Evening Activities
- Vertical Cluster
The cost of Camp (including all meals, accommodation, instructor-led activities, and coach transport) is $350 per student. To make the cost easier to manage, we have organised for this to be paid using instalments, if you wish:
Instalments are set to approximately two payments per month, to accommodate family budgets.
Unfortunately, due to planning requirements, payment extensions are NOT available.
Full payment MUST be made by the end of Term 2.
The payment schedule is a minimum suggestion only (spread across 4 months), for those who prefer to use instalments. Additional payments can be made at any time. Alternatively, you can pay the amount in full.
Please complete the attached permission note and return it to the Office with your payment method, in an envelope clearly marked with your child’s name and ‘Stage 3 Camp’.
