The 2022 Colour Run is fast approaching! Thank you to all the students, families and community members that have been raising money. It is greatly appreciated. The P&C are raising funds to purchase GALA sport uniforms and playground equipment.

Date: Thursday, 8 December 2022

Time: 1:20 - 2:55pm

What to wear: White shirt or mufti. Students are encouraged not to wear school uniforms.

To participate in the Colour Run:

  • Students can fundraise - Sponsorships can be collected until 12 December with great prizes to be won. (Sign up at schoolfunrun.com.au)
  • Parents and toddlers can bring a gold coin donation - Parents and young children are welcome to join the Colour Run. Please bring a gold coin donation per person to participate.

If your child catches the bus home, they are required to bring a change of clothes, as they will not be allowed to catch the bus in their coloured clothes.

A BBQ will be available on the day, run by the P&C. Pre-ordering will be required, with minimal extras available for sale on the day. A separate note will come home for this in the coming weeks.

Thank you,

Colour Run Committee and TAPS P&C

The P&C will be holding a School Fun Run’s Crazy Colour Day as a major fundraising event this year today! We’re doing it to raise much-needed money for Thomas Acres Public School.

About the day

The Crazy Colour Day is all about Fun! It will be a huge colourful mess and is undoubtedly one of the most exciting days on our school’s calendar, with everyone’s participation the aim, so please make sure they attend of the day and cheer the other kids on!

How does my child fundraise?

Firstly, go to schoolfunrun.com.au and create a student profile page. Everything to do with your fundraising revolves around this page. Students who raise just $10 will be able to choose a prize! The more they raise, the better their reward – don’t forget to check these out in the sponsorship form! We have educated students on the dangers of door-knocking without supervision, and we encourage you to reiterate this at home. The great thing about online fundraising is that you can share the link to your child’s profile with friends and family via email, SMS and Social Media.

Online Fundraising

The easiest way to help your child raise money is through online fundraising, where students raise an average of $120. On top of raising more money, it’s also safer and easier than doorknocking and you don’t have to worry about handling money! To start fundraising online, go to your student profile page at schoolfunrun.com.au and share your online fundraising link.

Competition time

To get our event off to a flyer, we’re starting our Colour Day with a super easy competition! The class with the most online profiles registered by Friday 23 September 2022 will win ice blocks for the class! To help your child’s class win, simply create your profile at schoolfunrun.com.au.

Getting involved

Not only can you support the school and students with your sponsorship – but you can join in on the fun! We would love to welcome parents and family members to attend our Crazy Colour Day. If you would like to volunteer on the day, please contact me on the details below. I can’t wait to see you at our event!
