Connect Meet - 3/4M, 5/6M and 6H

Class interviews for 3/4M, 5/6M and 6H

We would like to invite you to a parent-teacher-student interview in Week 5. The purpose of the meeting is to discuss your child’s learning and aspirations, and set them up for a positive and successful year.

This meeting will be one of three throughout the year. The first, which is our Connect Meet, will allow students, parents and teachers to build a profile on each student which outlines interests, passions, hobbies, learning habits, learning goals and other information which will be a valuable resource for teachers to use in the design of personalised activities and learning programs. The second meeting, our Re-Connect Meet, will be an opportunity to revisit the students’ profiles half-way into the year, to reflect on learning and goals, make necessary adjustments, and reset goals. The last meeting will be the Celebrate Meet, which as the name implies, will be a time to celebrate learning and achievements throughout the year.

The meetings will be approximately 10 minutes in duration, and each student will bring along their personal profile that they have been working on in class leading up to the Connect Meet. Further discussion and input from you will complete the student profile. All students in the school will have a personal profile to ensure staff know each and every child well, enabling teachers to make the best possible decisions and plans for future learning.
